Julie Engelmann is an artist based in Half Moon Bay where she works on murals, paintings, and digital illustrations.

Julie’s work aims to enlighten others by creating new visual possibilities using a range of media from fine art acrylics on canvas to spray paint on large walls. Her murals often illustrate historical themes in her highly detailed, often surrealistic style. She takes on all her projects with a great deal of care to deliver novel designs with excellence.  She is intentional about details around composition, color pallets, and creating work that accurately reflects an appropriate aesthetic for the mural's building and surrounding area. She thrives working collaboratively with clientele to offer something meaningful to their wall that brings a visual story and creative ideas to life.

Julie often works on large public murals in collaboration with cities such as The City of Half Moon Bay, The Town of Colma, Daly City, and Placerville.
